What is the mental, actionable, atomic, simple checklist you would apply to everything you do.

# The Execution Filter

**Before committing:**

1. **Constraint reality check** - Which "impossibles" are actually just social conventions I can ignore?

2. **Asymmetric leverage scan** - Will this 10x my impact or just add 10%?

3. **Systems vs. symptoms** - Am I addressing root architecture or putting band-aids on broken processes?

4. **Unique capability match** - Does this exploit something only I/we can do, or am I commodity labor?

5. **Parallel path availability** - Can I test 3+ approaches simultaneously, or am I locked into serial execution?

**During execution:**

6. **Real-world contact frequency** - Am I testing assumptions against reality daily, or theorizing in isolation?

7. **Speed governor check** - What am I over-planning that I should just ship and learn from?

8. **Network multiplication** - Who else becomes more powerful if they help me succeed?

**After any outcome:**

9. **Tangible delta measurement** - What *actually* changed in the world, not what I worked on?

10. **Extracted intelligence** - What did I learn that changes my next 10 decisions?

---

The meta-question underlying all of these: **"Am I playing the game everyone else sees, or am I rewriting rules most people don't realize are negotiable?"**

Everything else is overhead.

I am setting up a weekly Monday cadence meeting. What actions, activities, ideas, exercises, questions, etc. do you think should be in it?

# Rethinking the Monday Cadence Meeting

Most organizations run mediocre cadence meetings that merely track progress against artificial deadlines rather than accelerate transformation. Let's design something fundamentally different.

## Core Framework

1. **System Acceleration** (15 min)
- Identify the 1-3 current constraints throttling your entire system
- What single change would create disproportionate results?
- Which assumptions from last week were invalidated by reality?

2. **Information Asymmetry Exploitation** (15 min)
- What signals are you detecting that others aren't?
- Which contrarian insights from adjacent domains can you import?
- How can you convert information advantages into strategic positioning?

3. **Leverage Point Identification** (15 min)
- What non-obvious interventions could produce 10x vs 10% improvements?
- Which efforts should be ruthlessly abandoned to free resources?
- Where can you create force-multiplier effects through systems rather than effort?

4. **Rapid Iteration Commitments** (15 min)
- What will we test this week that most organizations would spend months analyzing?
- How can we design these tests to maximize information yield regardless of success/failure?
- What parallel paths will we advance simultaneously rather than sequentially?

## Implementation Notes

- Ban status updates that could be communicated asynchronously
- Maintain a "constraints board" that evolves weekly rather than a traditional task list
- Rotate a "paradigm challenger" role responsible for questioning fundamental assumptions
- Evaluate the meeting itself weekly: "Did this conversation create new possibilities or merely track existing ones?"

The meeting should feel intellectually destabilizing in the best way - people should leave with expanded thinking rather than just clear tasks.

Would you like me to suggest specific exercises or questions for any of these components?
