Kelsey Bowman @ Confluent
April 25, 2022 Make a list of what is needed in the dashboard SDR What the paywall removal means for people spending credits Them spending credits opens the door for new sales play What has been done to enable the sales play What resources are available If any questions contact Hey Team With the fall of the Confluent paywall, it means that more users will be able to use Confluent Cloud without being blocked by the fear of entering a credit card. We've already seen an increase in usage specifically around the number of clusters created and the number of accounts becoming OA (Onboarding Activated). Now that Confluent Cloud is trial-based (trial ends at $400 spend OR 60 days), it gives us the ability track and execute sales plays based upon an individuals trial journey. To enable those sales play, we've set up email notifications to let you know when one of your cloud sign up leads has spent $200 and $400 of their trial credits. This is what the notifications look like and here is some messaging you can use for your outreach to these leads. If you have any questions about paywall removal, the notifications, or the pre-built sequences, Kelsey or I would be happy to help. March 23, 2022 The PAO conversation is going to be ongoing. Should it be smaller?
